Welcome to PDFKit Pro. By accessing and using our website and tools (Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF to 100KB/200KB/900KB, etc.), you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using PDFKit Pro (pdfkitpro.com), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Continued use after updates means acceptance of new terms.

2. Free Service & No Warranty

PDFKit Pro provides free online PDF tools. All tools are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• 100% accuracy of compression to exact 100KB or 900KB (we try best effort using quality/scale iteration, but complex scanned PDFs may vary slightly)
• Uninterrupted service or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all PDF formats (scanned, encrypted with strong AES may fail)

3. 100% Browser Processing - User Responsibility

All processing happens in your browser (pdf-lib, pdf.js). Your files never leave your device. Therefore:

• You are responsible for keeping backup of original files
• We are not responsible for data loss if browser crashes during compression
• You must not use tools for illegal purposes (e.g., removing copyright watermarks without permission, unlocking PDFs you don't own)

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use PDFKit Pro to process illegal, harmful, or copyrighted material without permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or overload our CDN libraries
• Use automated bots to scrape or spam our service
• Upload (even though we don't store) malware-infected PDFs that could harm browser

5. Intellectual Property

PDFKit Pro design, logo, text content (excluding user PDFs) is owned by Sanjib Kumar. You may:

• Use tools for personal and commercial purposes for free
• Share our website link

You may NOT copy our website design/code and claim as your own without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Sanjib Kumar / PDFKit Pro is NOT liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using our tools
• Maximum liability is limited to $0 as service is free
• You use tools at your own risk – always verify output (e.g., check compressed PDF is readable before submitting to government portal)

7. No User Accounts

We do not require signup. No account, no password, no user data storage on server. Any localStorage (target size preference) stays in your browser and can be cleared anytime.

8. Third-Party Links & CDNs

We load pdf.js from cdnjs.cloudflare.com and pdf-lib from unpkg.com. We are not responsible for their uptime or privacy policies. External links to feedback email (mailto) will open your email client.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important. Please read our Privacy Policy which explains 100% browser processing, no file upload, no storage. By using our site, you agree to Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated date will be posted. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by laws of India, with jurisdiction in Gaya, Bihar. For any dispute, contact us first via Contact Page to resolve amicably.
