🔒 Our Core Promise: Your files NEVER leave your device. PDFKit Pro processes everything 100% in your browser using pdf-lib and pdf.js. No upload to any server.

1. No File Upload - 100% Browser Processing

Unlike other online PDF tools, PDFKit Pro does NOT upload your PDFs to any server. All operations (Merge, Split, Compress to 100KB/900KB, etc.) happen locally in your browser's memory. Once you close the tab, the memory is cleared. We cannot see, access, or store your files.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect your PDF files
We do NOT store your files on any server
We do NOT require email, signup, or account
We do NOT track what PDFs you compress
We do NOT sell any data

3. Information We May Collect (Anonymous)

We may use privacy-friendly analytics (like Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics with anonymized IP) to understand:

Number of visitors (anonymous)
Which tools are most used (e.g., Compress to 100KB)
General location (country level) for performance
Device type (mobile/desktop) to improve UI

This data is anonymous and does NOT include your PDF content.

4. Cookies

We use minimal cookies only for:

Analytics (to improve site)
Remembering your last target size preference (e.g., 200KB) stored locally in your browser (localStorage), not on our server.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We load libraries from CDN:

cdnjs.cloudflare.com (pdf.js)
unpkg.com (pdf-lib)
These CDNs may have their own privacy policies

6. Children's Privacy

Our service is for general audience. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Data Security

Since files never leave your device, there is no server breach risk for your PDFs. Your files are as secure as your own device. We recommend you still keep backups.

8. Your Rights

Since we don't store your PDFs, there's nothing to delete from our servers. Your browser's localStorage can be cleared anytime via browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with updated date.
